31308 - German Linguistics and Language 3

Academic Year 2010/2011

  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: First cycle degree programme (L) in Foreign Languages and Literature (cod. 0979)

Course contents

The aim of the course is to continue and further develop the metalinguistic reflection on the German language which was begun in the first two years. Starting from sentence structure and on the basis of grammatical and lexical elements, students will analyse for example cohesion phenomena as well as the information structure of different types of texts. The analysis of linguistic phenomena will be based on the readings of representative examples of texts, which will serve as an introduction to the conceptual and methodological basis necessary for analysing texts of different types in the German language.
