Learning outcomes

A general introduction to the ideas and techniques in project management; the theory and the methodology covered will allow students to understand the terminology and structure of (large) projects.  At the end of the course, the student shall be able to:

  • describe and determine the purpose and importance of project management from the perspectives of planning, tracking and completion of project,
  • compare and differentiate organisation structures and project structures,
  •  manage project schedule, resources and costs.
