Course contents

Argument: Mind and Passions in  Modern Age. Fron Descartes to Spinoza.

 

This course is subdivided into two parts. The students who have 12 credits program must prepare both parts; those who have 6 credits program choose between part A and part B.

All students (12 and 6 credits) must read this book: M. Mori, Storia della filosofia moderna, Roma-Bari, Laterza, 200, pp. 43-247.

Assessment methods

Oral exam.

Short papers (about 4000 words) are possible.
