Learning outcomes

The aim of this course is to enable students to perform a careful and sensitive representation of the surrounding landscape.

Course contents

The photography laboratory explores in depth the main issues concerning the use of the camera as a tool to investigate a territory. Some subjects will be selected and these will be used to represent cities and landscapes photographically.

Teaching methods

Slides and films will be projected in class. Each student must hand in a portfolio documenting their own work on the subject of representing landscapes and cities.

Assessment methods

In the final exam students will be asked to discuss the coursework produced during the year and the topics addressed in class.
