Learning outcomes
The first part of this course provides tools for understanding market structures and firms strategies. The second part provides tools for understanding the activity of antitrust authorities and the principles of competition policy.

Assessment methods
The exam is written.
Only for those students who decide to take
the exam in June or in July, the exam can be divided in two
parts.
The first part produces the 70% of the grade on the
competition policy part and is composed by open questions.
The second part of the exam produces the 30% of the final
grade on the competition policy part and is an essay which
presents and discusses a case analyzed by the Italian Antitrust
Authority in recent years. For more details see the
