Course contents
History and evolution of some important problems of the European history, beginning with the very concepts of Middle Ages and Europe, and focusing on the recent historical literature and the primary sources.

Teaching methods
No term papers are required, unless specifically asked by students. Foreign historiography (languages: anglo/american, french, german, castilian) will be used according to educational aims, and to introduce historical investigation to the students.
Assessment methods
An oral and very pliant examination, in order to test critical thinking abilities and knowledges achieved during the course.
Teaching tools
We will use primary and secondary sources that will be indicated and/or provided during the lessons.
