Learning outcomes
The course is meant to offer specific interpersonal skills that the students might use during interviews (research interviews, selection interviews...) . To this aim a survey of the main theoretical models and analytical methodologies of interviewing will be given with a particular attention to the opening, management and closing parts.
Course contents
The following topics will be treated:
a) The psychological interview: definitions and basic features. The role of contact in communication, evasive strategies and impediments to the contact, asimmetry and interactional roles
b) The dynamics of interview and communicative techniques: typology and expression of questions, enhanced questions, answer analysis
c) Type of interview: research interview, selection interview ...

Teaching methods
