Learning outcomes


Course contents

Through historical analysis of the birth and evolution of the Italian cities, this course seeks to make understood what renders a city a complex of inhabitants and material structure, and to make known the institutional, economic, social and cultural factors that constitute it. The subject will be illustrate through  the example of the city of Bologna.
