Learning outcomes

Acquisition of cultural and technical tools for the management and control of wild Birds and Mammals in different environmental conditions

Course contents

Features of the wild fauna in the ecosystems in Italy and Europe. Indigenous and alien species of Birds and Mammals. Effects of the physical environment and vegetation structure on the composition of wild fauna  and on the population dynamics. Invasive species. Interactions with human activities, such as agriculture, forestry and aquaculture. Methods to prevent and manage damages. Legal references.
