Learning outcomes

The course is intended to explain to the students the transformation of the postwar European society

Course contents

The course is intended to analyse the transformation that lead to the birth of a consumer society in Europe. After reconstructing the post-war renaissance of the European economy, the course will focus the changes in the sixties and seventies. The course will analyse particularly the conflict between generations in the sixties and the relationship between social and cultural modification and the political sphere in the sixties and seventies.

 Students attending  classes: participation ( 25%) + written examination (with  closed book) (75% of the final grade)
