The fundamental course aim is the acquisition of the following competences:
- the specific language relating to didactics as a discipline concerned with education
- the understanding and use of the categories that differentiate didactics as a disciplinary sector in relation to neighbouring fields
- learning the principal means of didactic mediation in relation to specific institutional environments
Course contents
Course content:
The course consists of the following teaching modules:
- Some definitions: didactics as the sum of teaching methodologies; didactics as the art and science of teaching.
- Conceptual categories of general didactics in the field of teaching/learning: the person who educates, the person who is educated, contents, language and contexts.
- General didactics as a place/ a means of language, relationships, tools, materials. Verbal mediation, written mediation, iconic mediation.
