Learning outcomes

The student is able to use the negotiation strategies of interpretation, is able to understand and produce a wide range of complex oral texts and speeches in English, speaking fluently and spontaneous and is able to apply knowledge and skills acquired in the field of linguistic mediation.

Course contents

The course aims to develop the students linguistic autonomy, focusing above all on subjects pertinent to interpreting skills.

Readings/Bibliography

Texts and materials will be provided during the course.

Teaching methods

Time given for developing speaking, listening, writing and reading skills, computer and language laboratory classes. The student will be expected to do a lot of work at home in preparation for lessons.

Assessment methods

Final test in the language laboratory based on comprehension|language production and oral skill testing.

Language laboratory, web site and multimedia resources.
