Learning outcomes

By the end of the laboratory the student: explores and analyses the various phases in the planning of musical projects and events, with particular attention to the coherence between artistic content and organisational modalities; is practised on certain concrete cases of musical productions; acquires expertise, with practical exercises, in the communication and dissemination of musical events and their contents, also through collaboration with the Department’s production activities in the field of music

Course contents

During the laboratory, students will be guided in the conception, planning and realization of some musical events that can find space among the activities of departmental production, in particular in connection with those promoted by “La Soffitta”.

Part of the meetings will be held in collaboration with "Orchestra Senzaspine", an association of young musicians very active in the Bolognese theatre and music scene.

The laboratory includes exercises on:

  • conception and programming of musical events;
  • preparation of presentations and critical notes;
  • press office and promotion.
