Since 2012 she is full professor at the University of Bologna. Her research lines are in Alzheimer's disease early drug discovery. Main topics are the development of selective and sensinsite methods to characterize the interaction between ligand and target protein by means of mass spectrometry also coupled to liquid and gas cromatography, circular dichroism, spectroscopic methods. At the moment she is interested in monitoring the structural modifications which cause the conformational changes of beta-amyloid peptide, the inhibition of enzymes which catalyse the TAU protein hyperphosphorylation and the abnormal production of amyloid peptide. She is involved in national and international research projects and collaborates with several european research institutions. She published more than 200 papers in international journal with high impact factor.
Previously arranged meetings at the Dept. for Life Quality Studies Corso D'Augusto 237, Rimini and at the Dept. FABIT Via Belmeloro 6, Bologna,
