Sergio Rivaroli holds a Laurea degree in Agricultural Sciences (Bologna, 2002) and got a Doctoral Degree in Agricultural Economics and Policy (Bologna, 2005). Research assistant at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna since March 1992 to date, and Adjunct Professor since September 2017.
His research focuses on consumers’ perceptions, preferences, and behaviours regarding food and drink products. Particular areas of proficiency include integrating methodological research approaches to the economic and perceptual evaluation of food products. His research interests are currently focused on consumer behaviour, food consumer analysis, agri-food marketing, quality food specialities and the wine business.
