Sergio Rivaroli holds a Laurea degree in Agricultural Sciences (Bologna, 2002) and got a Doctoral Degree in Agricultural Economics and Policy (Bologna, 2005). Research assistant at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna since March 1992 to date, and Adjunct Professor since September 2017. His research activity is centring on consumers’ perceptions, preferences and behaviours toward food and drink products. Particular areas of proficiency include mixing methodological research approaches on economic and perceptual evaluation of food products. His research interest is currently focused on food consumer analysis, agri-food marketing, craft foods and critical consumption. He adopt multivariate methods and qualitative approaches in his research activity to explore consumers’ food choices.
