Research assistant at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna since March 1992 to date, and Adjunct Professor since September 2017. Current research interests include competitiveness in Agri-food systems and marketing research, with specific topics regarding consumer behaviour, political consumerism and craftwork food products.
He received his first habilitation as an Associate Professor in Agricultural Economics and Appraisal in 2014, followed by a second habilitation in 2024, which is valid from March 2025 to March 2037. He holds a Doctoral Degree in Agricultural Economics and Policy, obtained from Bologna in 2005, and a Laurea degree in Agricultural Sciences from Bologna, awarded in 2002.
