Research Activities

2023 - ongoing

Project Manager for the study and excavation of the Islamic period phases at the site of Gawra Tepe (KRI, Iraq), part of the MiSAK activities, the Italian Historical Archaeological Mission in Kurdistan, under ISMEO, the International Association for Mediterranean and Oriental Studies, and the International Institute of Kurdish Culture in Rome.

2022- ongoing

Responsible for the study of materials, member (archaeologist and ceramicist) of MISAK - the Italian Historical Archaeological Mission in Kurdistan (ISMEO - International Institute of Kurdish Culture in Rome) directed by Dr. Luca Colliva (Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna).

2021-2022

Responsible for archaeological activities at the Citadel of Erbil for the MAIKI - Italian Archaeological Mission in Iraqi Kurdistan (Sapienza University of Rome), directed by Prof. Carlo G. Cereti (Sapienza University of Rome).

2018 - Present

Responsible for the study of ceramic materials for the Joint Iranian-Italian Archaeological Mission in Fars (ISMEO – ICAR - Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna - University of Shiraz), directed by Prof. Alireza Askari Chaverdi (University of Shiraz) and Prof. Pierfrancesco Callieri (Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna).
