Patrizia Dogliani is actually Full Professor of Contemporary History, Faculty of Humanities, Dept. of History, Bologna University, teaching courses on Contemporary European History and History and Media. She is member of the PhD Program on Global History at Bologna university and tutor in many co-tutorian PhD programs with French Universities. Previously she had been Researcher at the University of Modena (1983/1991) and Lecturer/Associate Professor of European Contemporary History at the School of Political Sciences, and afterthen at Modern Language School, University of Bologna, campus in Forlì. Dogliani received an Italian University Degree (Laurea) in Contemporary History at Bologna University and a Ph.D in Social History at the University of Paris8, Paris. She has been Visiting scholar and Visiting professor in many universities in Europe, USA and Australia. Dogliani is author of many essays and books in Italy and abroad on comparative European history in the 19th and 20th centuries, on various subjects: history of youth and generations; European socialism and internationalisms; Fascisms, Public memory and Wars; Urban history.
