Professional position.
Since 2019 Associate Professor in Developmental and Educational Psychology c/o University of Bologna, Department of Education Sciences. In 2021 she obtained the qualification to the role of Full Professor in the scientific disciplinary sector M-PSI/04 (Psychology of Development and Education).

Education.
PhD in Social, Developmental and Organizational Psychology at the University of Bologna (April 2003).
Degree in Psychology with honors at the University of Bologna. Experimental degree thesis in developmental psychology (February 1998).

Scientific activity and research interests.
She carries out her research in the field of educational and developmental psychology, with a particular interest in school psychology. The research interests are directed in particular to the study of psychosocial conditions that influence the processes of teaching and learning.

Teaching. 

 Since 2002, she has been continuously teaching various courses for Bachelor's and Master's degrees for the Department of Psychology and the Department of Educational Sciences. She is currently teaching "Research and Intervention Techniques in Educational Contexts" for the Master's Degree Course in School and Community Psychology of the Department of Psychology, "Developmental Psychology" for the Degree Course in Social Educator (Rimini Campus), "Developmental and Educational Psychology" for the Degree Course in Professional Education (Imola Campus) and "Learning Psychology", transversal skills course for the University of Bologna. Since 2002 she has also been conducting practical training activities (AFP) at the Faculty/Department of Psychology. In the academic year 2006-2007 she taught "Psychology of the Life Cycle for the Degree Course in Pedagogy and Human Sciences, University of Macerata.

Scientific activity
He has participated in numerous national and international research programs including: Principal investigator of the project "Presence and Practice of School Psychology in Italy: A Survey on Characteristics, Training, Practices, and Challenges of School Psychologists", funded by the Society for the Study of School Psychology (SSSP) (2020-2021); Principal investigator of the European project Socrates-Minerva (EACEA Agency) on "Social networks and promotion of knowledge construction in e-learning contexts" (2006-2008); European project Socrates-Grundtvig on "Technologies de l'information et de la communication et insertion sociale des usage" (2002-2003); National research project (PRIN 2008) on "La responsabilità nelle relazioni familiari: Practices and norms, interpretations and representations" (University of Urbino); European research project "EUROQoL" (2006-2010); National research project (PRIN 2004) on "Normative transformations and relations between social actors in the Italian educational system".
Referee of international and Italian journals in the field of Developmental and Educational Psychology.

Service at UniBO

Since 2020, she has been the vice-coordinator of the Master's degree in School and Community Psychology.
Since 2019 Member of the Green Office" of the Alma Mater - GOAL. Since 2014, she is Coordinator of the Research Group and Laboratory of the Department of Psychology of the University of Bologna in Development, Education, Training, Research, Action (SEFoRA). She was a member of the PhD Board in Psychological Sciences from 2010 to 2016.

From 2007 to 2010 she was Assistant Editor of the European Journal of Psychology of Education (EJPE),
Since 2017 Member of the Editorial Board of Interdisciplinary Education and Psychology.

Awards and Honors
2020 - Winner of the 2020 International Research Award nominated by the Society for the Study of School Psychology (SSSP).
2020 - Winner (as co-author) of the Award of the Italian Association of Psychology (AIP) - Section of Developmental and Educational Psychology, for the Best Poster presented within the study days "Covid-19 Emergency. Developmental and educational relapses".
1998 - Winner of the second prize for thesis in psychology organized by the Cesenate Association "Don Giuliano Botticelli" with publication of the thesis.

Bertin", University of Bologna. Since 2021 member of the new CRESPI, national Inter-University Center for the promotion of teachers' professionalism with the participation of 12 Italian Universities.
