Short Bio

Francesco Vitucci is Senior Assistant professor at the University of Bologna since 2010. He carries out his research in the field of audiovisual translation and, in particular, on the sociolinguistic and ideological aspects of translation from the Japanese language. Currently he focuses his research on the topic of identity and pro-am modalities in the field of interlingual subtitling. Engaged in national and international research collaborations, he collaborates with several associations, universities and festivals on the Italian territory. He has published in several books and journals both at national and international level.
