Francesca Crivellaro is Sr Assistant Professor in Cultural Anthropology at the Department of Education Studies. She achieved the PhD in "International Cooperation and Sustainable Development Policies" in 2011 with a thesis on microcredit as a strategy for migrant womens' social inclusion. Since 2007, she has been collaborating with different national and international research groups and participated in different EU funded projects (E+ project "EuMentorSTEM.Creation of a EUropean e-platform of MENTORing and coaching for promoting migrant women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics"; H2020 "PLOTINA. Promoting gender balance and inclusion in research, innovation and training"; H2020 “AGRUMIG. Leaving something behind-Migration Governance and Agricultural and Rural Change in ‘home’ communities”). Main research interests: international cooperation and development (microfinance, economic anthropology and development; migration and rural development); gender and migrations (gender, parenting/parenthood and migration; ethnic and gender discriminations in the labour market; highly qualified migrant women).
