Academic discipline: L-ART/01 History of Medieval Art

Short Bio

Born in Bologna, he teaches History of medieval art, History of illumination, Food and visual arts, and Medieval and Renaissance Art [in english] in the local University, where he has a didactic activity for the first level of 'corsi di laurea' (triennale and magistrale, BA and MA) of the School of Humanities and Cultural Heritage (Bologna office), the school of specialization, the PhD and the Master in Hitory and Culture of Food; has been invited for lessons and public talks by the Louvre Museum in Paris and by the Université François Rabelais in Tours (F), by Dickinson College in Carlisle (PA, USA) and by the Department of History of Mandalay University (Myanmar). He has published a huge number of studies, especially about illumination and XIII-XV century painting. Go to the Curriculum vitae

Office hours

As classes finish, at the end of December 2019, office hours will take place in different days of the week, and in different hours, announced here on this webpage. All will take anyway place in my office in piazzetta Morandi 2, in Santa Cristina building, where the sections of Arts included in my Department are located.
