Academic discipline: L-ART/01 History of Medieval Art

Short Bio

Born in Bologna, he teaches History of medieval art, History of illumination, Food and visual arts and Art education in the Department of Arts of the local University, where he has a didactic activity for both BA and MA and for the Masters in History and Culture of Food and in Ancient Books Classification; has been invited for lessons and public talks by the Louvre Museum in Paris and by the Université François Rabelais in Tours (F), by Dickinson College in Carlisle (PA, USA) and by the Department of History of Mandalay University (Myanmar). He has published a huge number of studies, especially about illumination and XIII-XV century painting. He is a member of the faculty board of the PhD program in History of Arts of Venice Ca' Foscari University. Go to the Curriculum vitae
