Fabio Fava

Fabio Fava is Full Professor of Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology, Bioeconomy and Circular Economy at the School of Engineering of the University of Bologna since 2005. He is the author of over 220 international publications on Circular Bioeconomy, in which he has coordinated 2 collaborative projects under the EU FP7 and several national research and innovation projects. Since 2013, he has represented Italy in several panels of the European Commission in Brussels; he currently serves on the Strategic Configuration of the Horizon Europe, the States Representatives Group of the Public-Private Partnership Circular Bio-Based Europe JU, the Board of Governors of the Joint Research Centre and the Programme Committee of Cluster VI Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment of Horizon Europe. He is also the Italian Representative to the Working Party on Biotechnology, Nanotechnology and Converging Technologies of the OECD in Paris. Go to the Curriculum vitae
