Editions and commented translations of Avestan and Zoroastrian sources; investigation on the Manichaean sources of Central Asia (Middle-Persian, Parthian, Sogdian) and about their relations with other Manichaean and Gnostic texts (Chinese and Uigur, but also Greek and Latin) and with Buddhist and Christian sources of Iran and Central Asia. Study of the Old Persian documents at the light of the political and religious history of the Achaemenian Empire in its multicultural relation with other ancient societies (Mesopotamia, Greece and India). *Researches on the cultural heritage of the ancient Sogdiana and Bactriana: Iranian, Hellenistic and Indian elements; Chinese and Turanian influences.
