I am associate professor in the Department of Philosophy and Communication Studies at the University of Bologna (scientific disciplinary sector MFIL / 05, Philosophy and theory of languages).
I joined the Department of Communication Studies in 2012 as lecturer ("ricercatore a tempo indeterminato") and then joined the the Department of Philosophy and Communication Studies.
I received the national scientific qualification for associate professorship in MFIL/05 in 2013 and I was promoted to associate professor in 2019.
I completed the PhD program in Philosophy of Language at the University of Eastern Piedmont in 2005 -at the time only Italian doctorate in analytical philosophy of language.
I got a postdoc position from 2004 to 2007 at the Arché research center of in philosophy (St Andrews UK, then directed by Crispin Wright, project on vagueness). Arché has been the first European research center of analytic philosophy that activated collaborative and international research programs in philosophy.
I returned to Italy in 2007 with postdoc positions at the Department of Philosophy and the Scuola Superiore di Studi Umanistici at the University of Bologna.
