Sabrina Ragone has been an associate professor of Comparative Law at UNIBO since 2017 and obtained the national qualification for full professorship in 2020.
She received her academic training across Italy, Spain, and France, and has held full-time posts also in Spain and Germany, where she still is a Senior Research Affiliate at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (Heidelberg).
She has been visiting professor or scholar in Europe, the US (George Washington, Boston College, Texas A&M, Michigan), and Latin America, and was a Fernand Braudel Fellow at the EUI in 2025.
In 2023 she was awarded the Jean Monnet Chair ROLLBACK and, previously, the Jean Monnet Modules EU_SOCIAL 2022-2025 and CRISES 2018-2022; she is also the PI of the 2022 PRIN SPACE (2023-2026). She has authored over a hundred publications in six languages, including books, edited volumes, book chapters and articles in leading peer-reviewed international journals.
