Silvia Grandi

Adjunct Professor at the University of Bologna in 2007-2009 and since 2017 in the field of geography of development, political, finance, economic geography, tourism and sustainability.

From 2008 to 2018 she has been adjunct professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and lectured in other Italian Universities (University of Salento; University of Tor Vergata, Uninettuno). As of 2020 she withholds the national academic qualification (ASN) as Full professor in the fields of Geography.

She is also permanent director at the Italian Ministry of Economic development since 2010 and she is member of various national and European committees. Among others, she has been managing EU programmes and international projects. Lately she is focusing mainly in circular economy, energy transition, education and sustainable development policies. She is currently also Director General for Circular Economy at the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security
