The 8th FinGeo Workshop and the 4th FinGeo School - Early Bird Expression of Interest open

This is the Save the date & the Early bird expression of interest for the 8th FinGeo Workshop and the 4th FinGeo School to be held at University of Bologna (Italy) - 1-4 February 2026.

We welcome all scholars, policy makers, professionals, practitioners, early, mid and senior interested in advances in financial geography in a high quality scientific, enriching and friendly environment.

The FinGeo school (1-2 February 2026) will be targeting early carreer researcher (Post-Grad, PhD students, Post-doc, etc), but it is open to anyone interested. This edition will focus on in-field research methodology in Financial Geography.

The FingGeo workshop (3-4 February 2026) aims at debating on advances in financial geography, sustainable finance, biofianance, climate finance, finance for social business, relational credit, development finance from different perspective including but not limited to: geography, political economy, political science, geopolitics, financial economics, and development studies.
