I am an assistant professor at DIT. I got my degree in conference interpreting (2008) at SSLMIT, Università degli Studi di Bologna and my PhD in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies at the same University. My academic activity (research and teaching) focuses on interpreting between Italian and Spanish, and in particular on the management of figurative language in interpreting, on technologies and methods for remote interpreting and on cognitive processes in remote interpreting.
I was a member of the SHIFT in Orality Erasmus+ project, on the didactics od remote dialogue interpreting, and am a member of the LICEI group, a research group on Spanish/Italian contrastive linguistics. I am the secretary of CIRSIL, Interuniversity centre of research on the history of language teaching.
