Guidance of the Emilia-Romagna region on the treatment of severe personality disorders

The guidance of the Emilia-Romagna region on the treatment of severe personality disorders, published in 2014, are the result of the adaptation of the guidelines on the treatment of Borderline personality disorder of the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) of 2009. Based on of the guidance the Emilia-Romagna region has developed a program aimed at adjust the treatments provided by the departments of mental health and pathological addictions to treatment standards based on empirical evidence of efficacy.
