Michele Sanza

The Dot. Sanza collaborates with Quadim research group on the quality of care provided by the Italian Mental Health Departments.

Dr. Sanza was scientific director of an epidemiological research on cocaine abusers who came into contact with the drug addiction services in the years 1999 - 2007 carried out in collaboration with the Emilia Romana region and the Institute of Physiology of the National Research Center ( CNR) of Pisa. The research results have been published.
Dr. Sanza was scientific director of a research carried out in collaboration with the Emilia Romagna Region and the CCM (Center for Disease Control) of the Ministry of Health. The research concerns the study of youth behaviors in relation to movements on the territory for recreational reasons and the phenomena of substance abuse. Reference period of the research activity February 2007 - February 2009. The research results have been published.

Dr. Sanza is the scientific director of a research, approved by the Ethics Committee of the Vasta Romagna Area, on the issue of emotional reactions and the psychopathological consequences of attacks suffered by health professionals by patients or relatives of patients. The research protocol was activated on March 15, 2012; the first experimental results are being published.

Dr. Sanza coordinated the scientific committee that directed the declination of the Guidelines of the Emilia Romagna Region for the treatment of Serious Personality Disorders. He currently coordinates the technical-scientific committee that presides over the implementation of the aforementioned Guidelines.

Dr. Sanza is the scientific director of a research on the experiences of care of patients with Borderline Personality disorder currently being carried out at the facilities of the Mental Health Departments of the Local Health Authority of Romagna, in progress, already approved by the Ethics Committee. of the Local Health Authority of Romagna of 02/19/2015.
