Description:
The collaboration with prof. Domenico Berardi, professor of psychiatry at the University of Bologna, and the Directorate of territorial health services, Mental health area of the Emilia-Romagna region, has been aimed at some research programs on two main topics. The first, regarding the treatment prevalence of serious personality disorders and the second the correlation between psychiatric pathologies and mortality. In the same context have been developed the guidelines for the treatment of severe personality disorders, published in 2014, on which the Severe Personality Disorders program of the Emilia-Romagna region was founded. This program is aimed at implementing the standards of care represented in the guidelines for borderline personality disorder. Further more, with professor Berardi we share the experience of the conference that has been held annually since 2007 in Cesenatico on the subject of borderline personality disorder.

With Professor Massimo Clerici, full professor of psychiatry at the Bicocca University of Milan, we share the presidency of the Italian society of addiction psychiatry point this theme we have developed in recent years a consensus conference pool with expert clinicians in the two professional fields of addiction psychiatry . the consensus conference hesitated on training programs and dissemination of recommendations and on improving integration between addiction services and psychiatric services.

As part of an agreement between the USL of Romagna and the psychology department of the University of Pavia, a collaboration was established with prof. Lavinia Barone, Full Professor in Developmental and Educational Psychology, aimed at implementing the DBT and in particular the DBT ST in the Mental Health Departments of the Emili Romagna Region. In this context, a research has been carried out on the outcomes of patients treated in the services with the ST of the DBT and another is underway on the outcomes of the ST in association with Case Management.
