Science outreaching
I have recently been involved in several activities concerning science outreaching, both in first person (I ranked second nationally in the popular scientific talent show Famelab in 2012) and as organizer (I organized a scientific talk show for Ph.D. students called “Scenarios of Energy” at the science fair “La Scienza in Piazza” (Science in the Main Square), organized by the Golinelli Foundations and supported by the University of Bologna). I have also been invited as a speaker to the first TEDMED conference in Italy (TEDMEDlive Bologna, on April 20th, 2013), and to a TEDx Cesena on April 8th, 2016). I've been invited as a TV or radio host several times, and release several interview to international media. I personally produce short video of pupular science on my Youtube channel, and on the social media Quora.
