Education and Training

April 2022 PhD in Agricultural, Environmental and Food Sciences and Technologies (University of Bologna), research topic Food Science and Biotechnology, Cycle XXXIV, presenting the thesis entitled: “Innovative Strategies for the Mitigation of Acrylamide Content in Different Food Products” (Supervisor: Prof. S. Romani, Co-Tutor: Dr. S. Tappi).

September 2020-March 2021 international mobility experience at Wageningen University & Research (Wageningen, The Netherlands) participating in the Erasmus+ and Marco Polo mobility programmes (Supervisor: Prof. V. Fogliano).

October 2018 Master's Degree in Food Science and Technology (University of Bologna) with the experimental thesis: "Effect of the use of innovative treatments on the reduction of acrylamide content in potato chips" (Supervisor: Prof. S. Romani, Co-tutors: Dr. S. Tappi and Dr. J. Genovese). Evaluation obtained 110/110 with honors.

February-June 2017 University exchange with the European Erasmus+ mobility program at the Facultat de Farmàcia i Ciències de l'Alimentació, University of Barcelona, Spain.

The award was given to the presentation of the PhD project entitled “Innovative Strategies for the Mitigation of Acrylamide Content in Different Food Products” (Supervisor: Prof. S.
