Guidelines for thesis request
Students interested in writing their thesis under my supervision are kindly requested to contact me 6–8 months before their expected graduation date, in accordance with the guidelines of the Degree Programme (see: How to write a thesis and an abstract).
I welcome thesis proposals in the field of Economic Sociology and Sociology of Work, focusing on the following topics:
- transformations of work and the labour market;
- inequalities and processes of social inclusion;
- migration and pathways to labour market integration;
- social innovation and economic development;
- ageing and life-course trajectories;
- professions and social groups (e.g. young people, older adults, people with disabilities, migrant workers, social and healthcare professionals, local communities).
When contacting me, please send an email including:
- research topic;
- research objective;
- research questions (general and specific);
- proposed methodology (how the work will be carried out: approaches, tools, and methods).
Thesis proposals may also stem from personal interests or study/work experiences, provided they are consistent with the course topics. If you only have a general idea, it will be possible to define and develop it together.
