Curriculum vitae

Marcello Mariani is Professor of Management, Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He is involved in a number of national and international research projects, and collaborates with the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management.

Prof. Mariani has extensive teaching experience at all levels (bachelor, master, PhD, MBA and Executive). He has been teaching and visiting scholar at many foreign universities and business schools. Marcello Mariani has directed and contributed to the development of several Master programs and executive programs, and has developed many courses and modules in management, business strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation management, and marketing.

He has authored almost 120 publications, including more than 50 journal articles, 6 books, 20 book chapters, and more than 90 conference papers. His research has been published in leading academic journals such as Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Industrial and Corporate Change, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Long Range Planning, Psychology & Marketing, Journal of Advertising, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Tourism Management, Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Travel Research, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, European Accounting Review, International Studies in Management and Organizations, and more.

He has been and is special issue Guest Editor for a number of academic journals including Journal of Business Research, Psychology & Marketing, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, British Food Journal, and more.

He sits on the editorial boards of Tourism Management, Journal of Travel Research, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, British Food Journal, Tourism Review, and more.

He has been awarded a number of prizes from academic bodies, learned societies, and research centers such as the Academy of Management (USA), the Department of Education, Science and Training Australian Government (Australia), the European Cultural Foundation (Netherlands), the European Academy of Management.
