Following the success of special issue of the Frontiers in Physiology (IF=4.134) dedicated to "Avian Muscle Development and Growth Mechanisms: Association with Muscle Myopathies and Meat Quality" which is almost completed, we decided to launch a second volume: deadline for manuscript submission is April 23rd, 2021. For both volume, it has been my privilege to share the Topic Editor’ role with Sandra Velleman (The Ohio State University).
