  1. Study and characterization of selective materials for membrane separation processes and energy applications, CO2 capture, hydrogen purification, natural gas and biogas upgrading, organic solvent nanofiltration.
  2. Development of macroscopic and microscopic models for the simulation of the physical properties of polymers, e.g. gas solubility, based on Molecular Dynamics and Equations of state.
  3. Study of the selective properties of solid adsorbents (MOFs, zeolites, activated carbon).
  4. Study and characterization of novel barrier materials for packaging applications, with focus on biodegradable materials.
  5. Ongoing projects:Horizon 2020 www.nanomemc2.eu NanoMaterials Enhanced Membranes for Carbon Capture
