Education

Four-year degree translation course in English and Spanish at the “Scuola Superiore di Lingue Moderne per Interpreti e Traduttori di Forlì, Università di Bologna”.

Technical translation course from Portuguese into Italian at the “Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori di Pescara”.

 

Work experience

Freelance technical translator from English, Spanish and Portuguese into Italian (since 2005). Collaboration with a select group of Italian and European agencies. Areas of specialization: Information Technology (hardware & software), videogame localization, mechanics, engineering, electronics, TLC and medicine.

AITI, AseTrad & ApTrad qualified member. AISPI and AISPEB member.

Certified Translator pursuant to the Italian Standard UNI 11591:2015

He also works as literary translator, literary scout and digital publisher.

Since 2016, he is co-owner of Edizioni Wordbridge, a digital publishing house specialized in emerging authors from English, Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries.

 

Teaching activity

Since 2019 he is adjunct professor for the teaching activity “SPECIALIZED TRANSLATION FROM SPANISH INTO ITALIAN”, Foreign Languages and Literatures, Interpreting and Translation — Campus of Forli. He also holds the course "Translation workshop between Portuguese and Italian".

In 2018 he held a series of professional seminars on translation for the publishing industry and on digital publishing in several Italian universities: Roma Tor Vergata, Roma Tre, Padova, Pescara and Bologna.
