   - CURRICULUM VITAE OF TEACHING AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES OF PROFESSOR FRANCESCA RESCIGNO:

She graduated in Political Science in July 1990 from La Sapienza University of Rome, with a mark of 110/110 cum laude.

She speaks and writes English and German fluently, for the maintenance of which she attended the Institute of Germanic Culture for several years; she has a fair command of Spanish and French.

In 1990, she began working with the Chairs of Constitutional Law and Regional Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna, providing seminars, support and tutoring for students, and as a member of the Examination Boards for these subjects, and later on the Degree Boards.

In October 1990 he began a three-year PhD in Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna, which he completed in October 1993. The discussion of the doctoral thesis, entitled: Il principio bicamerale nell'ordinamento costituzionale italiano: disfunzioni e prospettive di riforma (The bicameral principle in the Italian constitutional system: dysfunctions and prospects for reform), took place in September 1994.

Again at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna, in October 1994 he was awarded a two-year post-doctoral scholarship in Constitutional Law. The work carried out in relation to this grant ended, with a positive judgement expressed by the Scientific Referent of the research (Professor Roberto Nania) and the Director of the Legal Institute (Professor Giorgio Ghezzi), in September 1996.

In April 1998 he took up his post at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna as a non-confirmed researcher in Constitutional Law, confirmed in office in April 2001.

In May 1999 she was awarded the post of Constitutional Law within the scope of the University Diploma of Labour Consultant (for the academic year 1999/2000), activated at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna, a post confirmed for the following academic years (2000/2001; 2001/2002; 2002/2003; 2003/2004; 2004/2005) also following the transformation of the Diploma into a Degree Course.

In September 2001, she was successful in the comparative evaluation for the post of university professor of the second rank for the scientific-disciplinary sector N09X Institutions of Public Law, at the Faculty of Education, University of Catania (announced by Rector's Decree no. 2777, of 4 October 2000, published in G.U.R.I. no. 80, of 13 October 2000).

On 1 November 2002 she took up her post as university professor of the second rank for the scientific-disciplinary sector N09X Institutions of Public Law, at the Roberto Ruffilli Faculty of Political Science of the University of Bologna. At the same institution she was assigned the teaching of Comparative Constitutional Law. In the academic year 2008-2009 she was also assigned the teaching of Regional Law and Local Authorities.

In November 2005 she was confirmed as associate professor for the scientific disciplinary sector IUS/09.

She was a member of the Board of Lecturers of the PhD programme in Constitutional Law at the University of Bologna (administrative seat), Genoa, Parma, Salerno, Urbino, Modena and Reggio Emilia (consortium seats) until its dissolution, and subsequently a member of the Board of Lecturers of the PhD programme in State, Person and Services in European and International Law (DOT 1303114).

In 2004 she was appointed a member of the Commission for the Bar examinations (2004 Session - Ministerial Decree 3. 12. 2004) held at the Bologna Court of Appeal from December 2004 to February 2006.

In October-November 2005, she participated, as a speaker, in courses organised by the Ministry of Equal Opportunities at the University of Roma Tre, dealing specifically with European social policies and gender mainstreaming, and at the University of Bologna, focusing on the organisation of local and regional authorities before and after the reform of Title V and the role of women within these authorities.

In January 2006, she was invited by the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris to give a series of lectures on justice and constitutional reforms in the Italian legal system. On this occasion, she was able to establish relations for a future scientific collaboration with Professor Georges Chapouthier, who has been working on the subject of the recognition of animal rights for years.

In January 2007, she became mother to the beautiful Romea Giulia.

Since 2008 she has collaborated as a publicist with Il Corriere della Sera Bologna.

In 2010 she was appointed as a member of the Scientific Ethics Committee for Animal Experimentation at the University of Bologna.
In 2011 she joined the Master en Derecho Animal y Sociedad run by the Facultat de Dret - Univerisitat Autonoma de Barcelona, coordinated by Professor Teresa Gimenez-Candela (www.derechoanimal.info).
In 2011, she was appointed by the Municipality of Bologna as a member of the Committee of Guarantors for municipal consultative referendums.

For the 2014-15 academic year, at the School of Political Science- Bologna campus, she was assigned the teaching of Elements of Law and Equal Opportunities Law.
Since the academic year 2015-2016, at the School of Political Science of the University of Bologna, she has been teaching Public Law Institutions and Equal Opportunities Law.

Since January 2017 she has collaborated with a regular column entitled Laicità a 360 gradi, to the magazine Non Credo.

She is on the editorial board of the journal Ianus, Law and Finance, and the journal Non Credo.

In October 2018, she was eligible for the National Scientific Appointment for the First Band in the Competitive Sector of Comparative Law.

She has participated and continues to participate as a speaker in conferences of national and international interest.
