Federico Condello (1973) is Full Professor of Classical Philology at the Alma Mater Studiorum-University of Bologna, Dpt. of Classics and Italian Studies. He is tenured of Classical Philology (MA degree) and coordinator of the Laboratory of Translation from ancient Greek and Latin (MA degree).
He is member of the editorial board of the journal Eikasmós and other Italian journals and editorial series; he is member of the scientific board and coordinator of the public activities of the Research Centre La permanenza del Classico. He collaborates, as expert in classics and classical reception, with the newspapers «il manifesto» (Rome) and «La Repubblica» (Rome).
Since November 2021 he is the Rector's Delegate for Students, and since February 2022 the Rector's Delegate for Institutional Communication.
