Fabio Tosi currently holds the position of Junior Assistant Professor (RTDA) at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DISI) of the University of Bologna, focusing on the fields of computer vision and machine learning, with a specific interest in 3D image reconstruction.

Previously, he served as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bologna from 2021 to 2023, significantly contributing to projects funded by UNIBO and Huawei Technologies.

He completed his doctoral studies in 2021 at the University of Bologna under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Mattoccia, following his master's and bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering in 2017 and 2014, respectively.

In 2020, he was a visiting PhD student at the Autonomous Vision Group (AVG) led by Prof. Andreas Geiger at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and the University of Tübingen.

Fabio Tosi has authored over 50 publications in prominent international conferences and journals in the field of computer vision, including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, BMVC, 3DV, and TPAMI. He was acknowledged for the best doctoral thesis by the Italian Association for Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and Machine Learning (CVPL). Beyond being an author, he organizes tutorials at artificial vision conferences and regularly conducts reviewing activities for significant journals and scientific conferences in his field, such as CVPR, ECCV, and ICCV. He has been recognized as an outstanding reviewer for the CVPR, ECCV, and ICCV conferences.
