Associate Professor of Geography at the Department of History Cultures Civilizations of the University of Bologna since 2015.
In July 2022 she was elected ad councellor for Area 11 at the National University Council of the Ministry of University and Research.
Since 2018 she coordinates the Master degree in Geography and territorial processes at the University of Bologna.
Since June 2017 she is also the President of the Associazione Insegnanti di Geografia (AIIG) Emilia-Romagna.
In 2022, she was appointed as a member of the Commission for the Knowledge and Study of Geography in Schools, established at the Ministry of Education.
