Diletta Tega sits in the editorial board of Quaderni costituzionali. She is co-president of ICON-S Italy. Visiting professor May 2025 at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
She clerked at the Italian Constitutional Court (Justice Cartabia). She has been Emile Noël Fellow, Jean Monnet Center, NYU School of Law; Visiting Fellow at the School of Transnational Governance of the European University Institute and Italian legal junior expert for the EU Fundamental Rights Agency. Visiting Professor at the AntwerpUniversity Law Faculty, Spring 2020/2021- Spring 2021/2022.
Her book I diritti in crisi [Rights in crisis] – a critical appraisal of the relationship between Constitutional Courts and ECtHR – was published in 2012. Her second book, La Corte nel contesto [The Constitutional Court in context] – an original analysis of the role played in the legal system by the Court – has been published in 2020.
Main sectors of interest are: Global Constitutionalism; European protection of Human Rights; Italian Constitutional Court; Regional law; Anti-discrimation Law; Secularism and Freedom of religion.
