Dr. Tega clerked at the Italian Constitutional Court (2011-2014). She has been Emile Noël Research Fellow at the Jean Monnet Center at NYU School of Law (a.y. 2010, New York) and the Italian legal junior expert for the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (2007-2009). Dr. Tega has published in leading academic journals widely in the field of European constitutionalism and Constitutional Law. Her book I diritti in crisi [Rights in crisis] – a critical appraisal of the relationship between Constitutional Courts and ECtHR in the fundamental rights protection – was published in 2012. Main sectors of interest are: Global Constitutionalism; European protection of Human Rights; Constitutional Court case-law.
