Curriculum vitae

Consuelo Mameli is a type A Researcher at the University of Bologna since 2017. In the field of Developmental and Educational Psychology, her research interests regard learning environment, classroom justice, student engagement, agency and responsibility, and school well-being.


Graduated with honors in Developmental Psychology in 2008 at the Department of Psychology of the University of Parma, and obtained a Ph.D. in Psychology in 2013, in the same University. In 2014 she graduated with honors in Cognitive - Behavioral Psychotherapy at the Cognitive Studies Center in Modena.

Academic career

After three years of research fellowships (from 2013 to 2016) at the University of Bologna, in 2017 she obtained the role of Type A researcher in MPSI / 04 disciplinary sector (Developmental and Educational Psychology) at the Department of Educational Sciences GM Bertin, University of Bologna.

Teaching activity

In 2018 she held the Psychology course for the 24 CFU training course.
She is currently Professor of Developmental Psychology for the Three-year Degree Course in Social and Cultural Educator at the University of Bologna, both for Bologna (module 2) and Rimini.

Scientific activity

She has participated in numerous national and international research programs including:

From 2018, member of the Bologna Unit for the international project "Blurred Lives Project - a cross-national, co-participatory exploration of cyberbullying, young people and socio-economic disadvantage" funded by Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships Fund.

In 2016-2017, collaboration in the research "A child rights approach to combat bullying in the detention and residential care setting", funded by the European Community, Justice - Daphne Committee.

In 2016-2017, collaboration in a research-intervention for the improvement of school well-being and the promotion of citizenship skills. Project promoted and approved by the Order of Psychologists of the Emilia Romagna Region.

In 2013-2015, collaboration in a research project on the evaluation of school services aimed at preventing risk behaviors and promoting health in high schools. Project realized in collaboration with the Promeco service in Ferrara.

Institutional and academic activities 

From 2018, she is a Faculty Board member of the Ph.D. program in Psychology at the University of Parma.

Other activities

She carries out training courses and seminar activities for teachers.
