The topics of research have involved two aspects of civil procedural law: the law of the arbitration and the European procedural law.

In the first area it has been dealt with, on the one hand, the development of the arbitration proceeding into European law, notably by the interactions that the arbitration system has with the application and interpretation of EU law, on the other hand, profiles of arbitration proceedings in the strict sense.

In the second area it has been investigated, on the one hand, the technical regulations and case law on the rules of civil procedure of European origin, in particular, Council Regulations of civil procedural law (Regulation Brussels I, Regulation on service of documents in the member states), on the other hand, it has studied the effects of EU law on domestic procedural law (in particular in the field of civil liability of judges).
