Carlo Rasia

Associated professor of Civil procedural law (SSD IUS/15) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna.

Lawyer, practicing in Bologna and Venice. He is qualified to practice before the Supreme Court of Cassation and the High Courts.

He works in the field of Civil procedure, European civil procedure and Arbitration.

He works with many foreign universities and takes part in various national and international research projects.

Ordinary member of the Italian Association of scholars of civil procedure and an ordinary member of the International Association of Procedural Law.

Lecturer in national and international congresses and in several courses, including University master’s course, PhD programmes and courses organized by many Professional Association.

Author of four monographs and over 90 scientific publications in Italian, English, French and Spanish.

In 2015 he won the famous international price named ‘Cappelletti Prize’ for his first monography ‘Tutela giudiziale europea e arbitrato’, BUP, Bologna, 2010.

In 2017 he was awarded with the price ‘Enrico Redenti’ for the best Italian book of civil procedure.
