Short Bio

The scientific activity concerns the discipline of medieval history and the teaching of history and heritage. The research of medieval field is divided into two main areas: one related to studies on the theme of travel, pilgrimage  and its manifestations in the three great monotheistic religions, to the relics and their shrines in the Mediterranean; on the promulgation and evolution of the sources of legislation enacted in the various Italian political and territorial during the Middle Ages.Regarding the teaching of history the investigation are oriented to the theories, methodologies, strategies and tools relating the didactic of history, citizenship and heritage education.Scientific responsabile of "International Centre of Didactic of History and Heritage" (DiPaSt:https://centri.unibo.it/dipast/it) of Departement of Educational and coordinator of "International Feast of History" (www.festadellastoria.unibo.it).
