Anna Sirinian

Associate Professor since 2014, she does research in Armenology. Her interests focus on ancient and medieval Armenian literature, Armenian manuscripts, and documents regarding the historical presence of the Armenians in Italy that are kept in Italian libraries and archives.

She is member of the Academic Board of the PhD programme "Jewish Studies", and academic supervisor of the exchange programme between Unibo and Armenian Universities and Research Centers.

She is member of the Association Internationale des Etudes Arméniennes (AIEA) and of the Associazione Padus-Araxes (Sezione Armenisti Italiani); academician of the Classe sul Vicino Oriente of the Accademia Ambrosiana, and Doctor honoris causa of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
