Full Professor at the University of Bologna from 2018, conducts its research in the field of oenology with particular interest in the stability of white and red wines, natural antioxidant compounds and sustainability in winemaking. Coordinator of BSc degree in Enology and Viticulture (from 2016), engaged in several research projects, collaborates with companies in the beverage industry and with international experts of wine chemistry, sensory science and chemometrics. Author of more than 150 publications. Since October 09, 2024, he has been the Vice-Director of the Department of Agri-Food Science and Technology.
